冬十月丙辰，河北制置使王彥為閣門宣贊舍人。彥至自東京，赴行在，見黃潛善、汪伯彥，力陳兩河忠義民兵引頸以望王師,言辭憤激，大忤潛善、伯彥之意，遂降旨免對，而有是命。庚申，命江淮制置使劉光世討李成，時成犯淮西故也。壬戌，詔葉夢得、孫覿、張澄討論常平法，條具取旨，始用覿奏也。癸亥，初復鈔旁定帖錢。先是政和間，陳亨伯始議創經制錢，靖康初廢，至是先取定帖錢，命諸路提刑司掌之。經制錢自此始。詔御營平寇左將軍韓世忠以所部自彭城至東平，中軍統制官張俊自東京至開德，以金人入寇故也。仍命河外元帥府總管馬廣互相應援，蓋未知廣已敗也。甲子，命常德軍承宣使孟忠厚奉隆祐太后幸杭州。癸酉，京西北路安撫制置使、知河南府翟進戰死。進與金人夾河而戰，屢破之。時東京留守杜充酷而無謀，士心不附，諸將多不安之。馬廣、王彥既還朝，餘稍稍引去。宗穎屢爭不從，力請歸持服，統制官楊進亦叛，進率其軍與楊進戰，為賊所害。初，宗澤日繕兵為興復計，兩河豪傑皆保聚形勢，期以應澤。未出師而澤卒，競無遠圖，由是河北諸屯皆散，而城下兵復去為盜，掠西南州縣，數歲不能止,議者咎之。始命有司討論崇、觀以來濫賞。丙子，詔令到部官自陳有無係討論之人，仍結除名罪。江淮制置使劉光世敗李成於新息縣，成遁走。御營都統制劉正彥擊丁進，降之，分其兵隸諸軍。
