五月丙辰朔，戊午，以刑部侍郎兼給事中徐經孫、工部侍郎兼司業常挺、太常少卿兼太子侍講吳堅為殿試詳定官。己未，御集英殿策進士。辛酉，御射殿閱武舉進士射。丙寅，蠲臨安府稅三月，平物價也。丁卯，都省言：『諸路州縣稅租，見錢用時價折納會子，以重楮也。州縣間有故行違戾者，詔諸路提刑躬視所部，違者劾之。』戊辰，上曰：『謝奕化折納苗米價太重，已戒飭之，仍貸義倉充軍費，以免科糴，庶可少寬民力。』似道奏：『聖恩及此，軍民兩受賜矣。』己巳，都省言：『廣西諸郡措置屯田已有小效，若邕、欽、宜、融、柳、象、潯州能一體講行，亦可省糴運。』詔守臣任責措置，經略安撫提領，課以殿最，仍條具來上。庚午，都省言：『廣西經略安撫司申安南國進貢賀昇平禮物。』詔戶部依例給賜。辛未，同知樞密院事兼知臨安府馬光祖除職知福州。壬申，上曰：『馬光祖再尹神皋，殊無善狀。朝綱所係，豈宜動肆輕紊?』似道奏：『宅揆非才，望輕招侮，法宜引去。陛下曲賜全宥，臣惟有恐懼。』上曰：『卿之所爭為公，光祖之所爭乃為私。』諫臣陳堯道奏貪吏為蠹者八事，而勢家嘩徒黠胥尤甚。詔戶部下諸路監司禁戢。甲戌，詔：『周公作詩，不避昌、發。孔子不遍避二名。朕舊名一字，乃理學至要，五常百行，非誠非也，無之可乎?先朝如益字、實字，見之群臣表章，此尤可證。自今其勿復避。』丁丑，御集英殿，賜禮部奏名進士方山京等敕凡六百三十有七人。已卯，賜特奏名進士敕凡七百四十有三人。
