七月丙辰，都省言：『州縣官最為近民，欲其不為民害，當先革貪欲。革其貪，當先養廉。今諸州縣官廩給往往拖壓，是驅之使貪也。監司、守令但知豐己，皇恤他人。邇者貪贓之罰既嚴於屬吏，則養廉之俸合責於長官。』詔令御史臺覺察，其有違戾，許屬部官於離任日訴于臺省，計贓論罪。壬戌，以董槐薨，輟視朝，贈少師，謚文清。庚午，以皇女周漢國公主薨，輟視朝五日，賜謚端孝。太史奏用七月癸未車駕臨奠，駙馬都尉楊鎮奉辭凡五，乃從之。乙亥，廣西經略朱禩孫申增築四城，內包學舍，添置書院，乞照白鹿洞例錫名，仍置山長一員。詔以『宣城書院』為額。戊寅，詔文武臣陳乞敘復，令吏、刑部具元犯上于尚書省斟酌施行。辛巳，詔敕令所重修《吏部七司條法》。癸未，詔戶部申嚴諸路州縣苛取苗米之禁。甲申，有白氣如疋練亙天。戊戌，李璮死。己亥，詔昨賜公主田，以秀豐莊二萬九千有奇充影堂祭祀，餘悉撥隸淮東總所，以助軍餉。壬子，以皇太子宮滿歲，宮師以下各進一秩。
