28  | 辛未四年明洪武二十四年春二月，黎季犛領軍廵化州，閲定軍伍，修造城池。 |
| 29 | 三月，季犛令左聖翊軍將黃奉世將兵出哨占城地方。占人設伏，奉世軍自潰，為賊所擒。季犛以奉世所部大隊副三十人斬之。奉世用計得脱，復職如故。 |

| 31 | 五月，太尉莊定大王𩖃出亡南定庄。庄人以船送至萬寧寨，寨人楊度不納，上皇遣寧衛軍將阮仁烈追還，季犛陰使殺之。仁烈格𩖃死之，回奏𩖃暴擊為所殺，降為愍王。後上皇悔悟，問追捕愍王者為誰，仁烈惧，乃自縊。先是，上皇既廢靈德，欲立𩖃，季犛以計誤之，乃立帝，加𩖃大王，仍為輔臣。𩖃與季犛有隙，多被季犛所譛，恐惧驚疑，故至此耳。後季犛篡國，降為列校判侯。 |
| 32 | 秋八月，化州諸將論利害之勢。潘猛曰：「天無二日，民無二王。」朱秉珪曰：「楊柳多言。」眾皆閉口未詳所言。時鄧悉、黃晦卿等隂書以遺季犛。季犛以為潛謀不軌，秉珪、猛皆被殺。以鄧悉為右州判，黃晦卿為正刑院大夫。御史大夫杜子澄不以為言，季犛作詩遺之曰：「借問子澄懦中尉，書生何忍負平生。」 |
