6  | 宋吳元美作〈吳縝《新唐書糾謬》序〉曰：唐人稱杜征南、顏秘書為左丘明、班孟堅忠臣。（顏師古本傳。）今觀其推廣發明二子，信有功矣。至班、左語意乖戾處。往往曲為說以附會之。安在其為忠也？今吳君於歐、宋大手筆乃能糾謬纂誤，力裨前闕，殆晏子所謂獻可替否，和而不同者。此其忠何如哉！然則唐人之論忠也陋矣。可謂卓識之言。 |
