德宗敦崇外族，赠太后父易直太师，易直子库部员外郎介福赠太傅，介福子德州刺史士衡赠太保，易直第二子秘书少监震赠太尉；时沈氏封赠拜爵者百馀人。贞元七年，诏外曾祖隋陜令沈琳赠司徒，追封徐国公，与外祖赠太师易直等立五庙，以琳为始，缘祠庙所须，官给。后无近属，惟族子房为近，德宗用为金吾将军，主沈氏之祀。
