二月辛卯，以李林甫遥领陇右节度使。甲辰，禁大寒食以鸡卵相馈送。庚申，葬贞顺皇后于敬陵。乙卯，以牛仙客遥领河东道节度使。辛酉，废仙州，分其属县隶许、汝等州。三月己巳朔，减秘书省校书、正字官员。丙子，有星孛于紫微垣中，历斗魁十馀日，因阴云不见。己酉，河南、洛阳两县亦借本钱一千贯，收利充人吏课役。癸未，京兆地震。吐蕃寇河西，左散骑常侍崔希逸击破之；鄯州都督杜希望又攻拔新罗城，制以其城为威戎军。夏四月己亥朔，始令太常卿韦绛读时令于宣政殿，百僚于殿上列坐而听之。五月乙酉，以李林甫遥领河西节度使，兼判梁州事。庚寅，幸咸宜公主宅。六月庚子，立忠王璵为皇太子。秋七月己巳，册皇太子，大赦天下，常赦所不免者咸赦除之。内外文武官及五品已上为父后者各赐勋一转。忠王府官及侍讲加一阶。赐酺三日。庚辰，分越州置明州。九月丙申朔，日有蚀之。庚子，于旧六胡州地置宥州。益州长史王昱率兵攻吐蕃安戎城，为贼所据，官军大败，昱弃甲而遁，兵士死者数千人。
