1  | 張履祥，字考夫。居桐鄉之楊園，學者稱楊園先生。幼孤，母口受四子書，曰：「孔孟只兩家無父兒也。」後受業於蕺山，聞慎獨之說，晚乃肆力紫陽。當時東南文社各立門戶，履祥退然如不勝，惟與同里顏統、錢寅以文行相砥礪，繼與海鹽何汝霖、凌克貞切磋講習，益務躬行。嘗謂人多讀書則識進，且能自見瑕疵，故終身都無足處。又曰：「稼穡者，治生之大端也。務稼穡，則無求於人，而廉恥立。不妄取於人，而禮讓興。廉恥立，禮讓興，然後風俗淳懿，而古道可復。」因著《補農書》以勸其子弟。朱竹垞曰：「考夫講學，一以鹿洞為宗，仁宅義根，言規行矩，間作詩，不沿安樂窩頭巾語也。」著有《楊園備忘錄》三十四卷。 |
