12  | 桐城派有方苞，所著曰《望溪全集》。劉大櫆為苞弟子，不傳經。姚鼐為大櫆弟子，有《左傳補注》、《公羊補注》、《穀梁補注》、《國語補注》、《九經說》。桐城方氏說經諸書，源出北宋，再傳為鼐，以參合義理、考據、詞章為宗。桐城之學，至此一變，曾文正師之。東塾派有陳澧，所著曰《東塾讀書記》、《漢儒通義》。澧為阮元再傳弟子，然近世所謂漢、宋兼采一派者，至澧而始定其名，故別為派以殿於後。 |
