14  | 侍讀學士晉南京吏部尚書錢溥錢溥，字原溥，直𨽻華亭人。正統四年進士。太監王振訪可教內侍書者，或薦溥試《蔷薇露》詩，大見稱賞，特授檢討。景泰辛未，遷左贊善兼檢討。七年，修《寰宇通志》，轉左諭徳，兼編修《天順紀元》，改尚寳司少卿，兼官如故。俄陞侍讀學士。修《大明一統志》，充副總裁。壬午，頒詔安南充正使，貽書與其王論郊迎禮甚悉。甲申，降廣東順徳知縣。成化丙戌，詔復舊官，尋起掌南京翰林院事。丙申，陞南京吏部左侍郎，陟尚書致仕，卒，賜諡文通。溥性輕躁嗜進，嘗作《禿婦傳以譏商輅。有太監王倫者，受業於溥，當英廟大漸，時倫出就溥舍，妄議時政，邏者得之以聞，下獄，罪且不測，有左右之者乃得末減，出為知縣。雖累被彈劾，尚遷崇秩，識者鄙之。廖道南曰：「士之立身，可不慎哉！」王振以巨璫秉政，噂沓背憎，譸張為幻，溥也何人，乃首附之。卒之不理于口，非言者之過也，溥之罪也。贊曰：「漢之喬固，白刃罔避。唐之訓注，甘露不畏，一忠一佞，同事異術，溥何人斯？居身靡惎，積乆滋彰，云胡弗愧」。侍讀學士晉、禮部尚書周洪謨。 |
