5  | 林湜，字正甫，福寧長溪人。紹興三十年進士，調富陽尉，改知晉江，判南劍州。太守議官自賣酒，湜力争不可守，自為奏朝廷視無通判，署疑之，守奏遂格。除監察御史。疏言：「陛下托股肱於宰執，而所授皆小人，寄耳目於臺諌，而彈擊皆君子治亂之大無過。於是為殿試詳定官某士，對䇿剴切，湜擬第一，朝廷不用。及侍御史劉光祖下遷，湜曰：「可以行矣」。再論靜江知府錢之望，出為江西轉運判官。歴太府司農卿，充孝宗遺留使。金國，通名金，以服賜湜，湜揮擲之曰：「宋正統相承，服視其品，今易左袵，有死而已」。金不能屈，復命，光宗迎謂曰：「卿守禮甚堅，國體不失韓侂胄讐」。逐正士呂祖儉，上書争之，貶嶺外。湜見余丞相曰：「呂子約南行執奏，收回大臣責也。力請外，除湖北轉運副使，進直龍圖閣致仕。湜性泊淡散朗，雖為政精敏，遇事立斷，而平居但教諸生誦說，若不涉世故者，於善惡賢不肖明白，而又䕶惜善𩔖，世所謂善人君子，常欲以一身同其榮悴去留，故議論多激發，見忌於人，是以齟齬廢斥而終不悔。朱文公被斥，士皆逺嫌，湜獨執弟子禮不變，未沒前數月，猶馳書問疑，義著槃隠集。 |
