7  | 乙亥，竄蔡京于儋州，攸雷州，童貫吉陽軍，趙良嗣柳州。乙酉，詔蔡京子孫二十三人分竄遠地，遇赦不許量移。是日，京死于潭州。京字元長，興化仙游人，熙寧三年進士。天資凶譎，舞智御人，與童貫相結，因得驟進，在人主前，顓狙伺為固位計。帝亦知其奸，屢罷屢起。京每聞將退免，輒入見祈哀，匍伏叩頭，無復廉恥。見利忘義，至於兄弟父子自為秦、越。暮年即家為府，營進之徒俱集其門，輸貨僮隸，皆得美官，棄紀綱法度為虛器。根株連結，牢不可破，卒致宗廟之禍。雖以謫死，天下猶以不正典刑為恨。 |
