2  | 撰採頗備，條畫亦頗詳明。至山川古跡及古今題詠之屬，則別為四卷附後，名曰《紀餘》。蓋河道之書，以河為主，與州郡輿圖體例各不侔也。國朝順治中，管河主事閻廷謨益以新制，作《北河續紀》四卷，雖形勢變遷，小有同異。要其大致，仍皆以是書為藍本。蓋其發凡起例，具有條理，故續修者莫能易焉。肇淛著作甚夥，而《明史》於《文苑傳》中獨載此書，稱其具載河流原委及歷代治河利病，其必有以取之矣。 |
| 1 | 國朝閻廷謨撰。廷謨，孟津人。順治丙戌進士，以工部主事督理河工。是編因謝在杭舊志而修之，又附錄古跡、藝文於其後。廷謨自序，謂「刪其不宜於今而增其正行於今者」，故所紀形勢頗詳。然正行於今者增之是也，其不宜於今者亦當存以備考証，乃協志乘之體。一概刊除，非通論也。 |
