1  | 乾隆十四年奉敕編。考講義之作，莫盛於南宋。其解經者如袁燮《毛詩講義》之類，其論史者如曹彥約《經幄管見》之類，皆經筵所陳也。其更番奏御者謂之故事，李曾伯《可齋雜稿》、孫夢觀《雪窗集》中皆有之。其體徵引古書於前，附列論斷於後，主於發揮義理，評議是非。與講義之循文衍說者，為例小殊；而即古義以抒所見，則其意一也。我皇上深造聖域，而俯察邇言。海岳高深，不遺塵露。乾隆二年，特詔翰林詹事六科十三道諸臣，輪奏講義。或標舉經文，下列先儒義疏，而闡明其理蘊；或節取史事，下列先儒評品，而辨析其得失。略如宋人故事之例。其敷陳中理者，溫綸嘉勉；或持論未當者，即召對開示，命複繕以進。則宋世未聞是事。豈非前代帝王徒循舊制，我皇上先登道岸，足以折衷群言歟？積累既多，因敕大學士蔣溥等，編為此帙，並以訓諭改定者恭錄簡端。蓋都俞籲咈，罔非聖教之裁成；而諸臣管蠡之見，仰蒙採擇，得以流傳於萬世，尤非常之榮幸矣。 |
