1  | 明王養端撰。養端字茂成，遂昌人，嘉靖乙卯舉人。是集為其鄉人何鏜所刪定，而遂昌知縣池明刻之。其時王、李並馳，海內響應，故養端所作，亦沿二家之波。大都一字一句必似古人，而意趣則罕所自得。冠以擬古樂府一卷，望其標目，古色斑然，核其文章，乃多無取。如《李延年歌》、《漢武帝李夫人歌》，皆偶爾神來，遂成絶調，即作者亦不能再為，而皆衍為長篇，味如嚼蠟；《焦仲卿妻詩》、《木蘭詩》，正以委曲瑣屑入妙，而縮為數句，又似斷鶴；至於樂府諸篇，古詞僅在，如曰摹其音節，則無詔伶人，事謝絲管，劉勰言之矣。非夔非曠，誰能於千百年後得其律呂？如曰闡其意義，則標名既每難詳，詞句尤多訛闕。 |
