1  | 元歐陽玄撰。玄有《拯荒事略》，已著錄。玄平生三仕成均，兩為祭酒，六入翰林，三拜承旨。凡朝廷高文典冊，多出其手。揭徯斯作玄集序，稱有曰詩流者三卷、曰鈆中者十卷、曰驅煙者十五卷、曰強學者十卷、曰述直者三卷，其門人王師模所編。明宋濂《序》則謂原集一百餘冊，皆毀於兵，惟存辛卯至丁酉七年之作二十四卷，其孫佑持編錄之。此本詩賦四卷、文十一卷、附錄一卷，題宗孫銘鏞編集，又非佑持之舊矣。孔齊《至正直記》曰：「歐陽玄作文，必詢其實事而書，未嘗代世俗誇誕。」時人謂文法不及虞集、揭徯斯、黃溍，而事實不妄則過之。然宋濂稱其文「如雷電恍惚，雨雹交下，可怖可愕，及乎雲散雨止，長空萬里，一碧如洗」，實亦未減於三人也。虞集《道園學古錄》有《送玄謁告還瀏陽詩》曰：「憶昔先君早識賢，手封制作動成編，交游有道真三益，翰墨同朝又十年。」蓋集父教授於潭州，見玄文大驚，手封一帙寄集曰：「他日當與汝並駕齊驅，故集詩云然。」然則玄發軔之初，聲價已與集相亞矣。 |
