1  | 明徐貞明撰。貞明字孺東，一曰伯繼，貴溪人。隆慶辛未進士，官至尚寶司少卿。其官工科給事中時，上疏言畿甸水利，大旨開西北之溝洫，以省東南之漕運。廷議不行。會以他事外謫太平府知事，不能再疏理前說，乃於通州旅次作此書，設為賓主問答之辭，以盡疏中之義。前有萬歷丙子張元忭序，又有俞均重刊序，及王祖嫡題詞，末有李世遠、王一鶚二書，李楨、米鴻謨二跋，皆盛推之。 |
| 1 | 明袁黃撰。黃號了凡，嘉善人。萬歷丙辰進士，官兵部主事。是編歷考北直隸河渠，意在興修水利。末載畿內田制、開田賞功、沿海開田諸論，大旨頗與徐貞明《潞水客談》相近。黃嘗任寶坻令，縣賦繁重，具疏乞減，故於畿輔利弊尤所究心。卷首題「前進士袁黃，」撰旁注云「了凡雜著」，亦疑非完帙也。 |
