1  | 旧本题师旷撰。晋张华注。汉、隋、唐诸志及宋《崇文总目》皆不著录。其引用自陆佃《埤雅》始，其称师旷亦自佃始。其称张华注则见于左圭《百川学海》所刻。考书中鹧鸪一条，称晋安曰怀南，江右曰逐隐，春秋时安有是地名？其伪不待辨。张华晋人，而注引顾野王《瑞应图》、任昉《述异记》，乃及见梁代之书，则注之伪亦不待辨。然其中又有伪中之伪。考王楙《野客丛书》，载《埤雅》诸书所引，而楙时之本无之者，如鹤以怨望，鸱以贪顾，鸡以嗔睨，鸭以怒瞋，雀以猜惧，燕以狂目行，莺以喜啭，乌以悲啼，鸢以饥鸣，鹤以洁唳，枭以凶叫，鸱以愁啸，鹅飞则蜮沉，鵙鸣则蚓结，鹊俯鸣则阴，仰鸣则晴，陆生之鸟咮多锐而善啄，水生之鸟咮多圆而善唼，短脚者多伏，长脚者多立，凡数十条。 |
