2  | 其中如謂聖人貶杞之爵，降侯為子；與毛伯錫命稱天王、稱錫為以君與臣之詞；召伯賜命稱天子、稱賜為彼此相與之詞。雖尚沿舊說之陋，而發揮書法，條理秩然。程子所謂「大義數十，炳如日星」者，亦庶幾近之矣。考宋沈棐嘗有《春秋比事》一書，與此書大旨相近。疑汸未見其本，故有此作。然二書體例各殊，沈詳而盡，趙簡而明，固不妨於並行也。 |
| 1 | 國朝惠士奇撰。士奇有《半農易說》，已著錄。士奇父周惕，長於說經，力追漢儒之學。士奇承其家傳，考証益密，於三《禮》核辨尤精。是書以禮為綱，而緯以《春秋》之事，比類相從，約取三《傳》附於下，亦間以《史記》諸書佐之。大抵事實多據《左氏》，而論斷多採《公》、《穀》。每條之下，多附辨諸儒之說。每類之後，又各以己意為總論。大致出於宋張大亨《春秋五禮例宗》、沈棐《春秋比事》，而不立門目，不設凡例。其引據証佐，則尤較二家為典核。 |
