1  | 國朝張榕端撰。榕端字樸園，磁州人，康熙丙辰進士，官至內閣學士，兼禮部侍郎。是編乃康熙丙子榕端奉命祭告所作。以是年正月出都，登泰山。歷東鎮沂山、東海，往返凡四閱月。逐日記其道路所見，附以詩歌。於山川古跡，無所考証。而工於點綴景物，敘致時有可觀。其詩則已刊入《寶嗇堂集》，此為複出矣。 |

| 1 | 國朝張榕端撰。榕端，有《海岱日記》，已著錄。是集為榕端官內閣學士時所刊，皆其康熙己未至己卯之詩。前有任邱龐塏《序》：稱其詩和而不迫，秀而不纖，逸而不肆，宛轉纏綿，一寫其胸中之趣，而未嘗借以宣其喜怒不平之氣。 |
