國朝顧陳垿撰。陳垿字玉亭，太倉人。康熙己酉舉人，官行人司行人。

明蕭崇業、謝傑同撰。崇業，雲南臨安衛人，隆慶辛未進士，官至右僉都御史，提督操江。傑，長樂人，萬歷甲戌進士，官至戶部尚書，總督倉場。萬歷七年，崇業為戶科給事中，傑為行人司行人，奉使往封琉球國世子尚永為中山王。

國朝張學禮撰。學禮字立庵，鑲藍旗漢軍，官至廣西道監察御史。是編乃康熙元年學禮以兵科副理事官與行人司行人王垓奉使冊封琉球國王時所記。前敘請封遣使始末及往來道路之險。後為《中山紀略》，則載其土風也。時琉球國王尚質，繳故明敕印，舉國內附，故學禮等有是役。蓋國家遣使東瀛，此為始事云。
