1  | 舊本題明黃淳耀撰。淳耀字蘊生，號陶菴，嘉定人。崇禎癸未進士。南都破後，殉節死。事跡具《明史儒林傳》。是編所紀，皆山東風土、形勢、山川、古跡，及海運備倭諸事宜。徵引拉雜，殊鮮倫理。案：淳耀生平未嘗游山東，所著《陶菴集》內亦無此書名，此本見曹溶《學海類編》中，疑亦出偽托也。 |
| 1 | 明黃淳耀撰。淳耀有《山左筆談》，已著錄。淳耀湛深經術，刻意學古。所作科舉之文，精深純粹，一掃明季剽摹譎怪之習。而平日力敦古義，尤能以躬行實踐為務，毅然不為榮利所撓。如《吾師》、《自監》諸錄，皆其早年所訂論學之語，趨向極其醇正，而平易可近，絶無黨同伐異之風，足以見其所得之遠。文章和平溫厚，矩矱先民；詩亦渾雅天成，絶無懦響。於王、李、鍾、譚餘派去之惟恐若浼，可謂矯然拔俗。卒之致命成仁，垂芳百世，卓然不愧其生平，可以知立言之有本矣。集為其門人陸元輔所輯，見於《明史》者十五卷。此本為文七卷、文補遺一卷、詩八卷、詩補遺一卷、《吾師錄》一卷、《自監錄》四卷，共二十二卷，乃後人續加增輯以行者也。 |
