1  | 國朝顧鎮撰。鎮字備九，號古湫，常熟人。常熟，古海虞地。鎮居城東，故又自號曰虞東。乾隆甲戌進士，官至宗人府主事。是書大旨，以講學諸家尊《集傳》而抑《小序》，博古諸家又申《小序》而疑《集傳》，構釁者四五百年，迄無定論。故作是編，調停兩家之說，以解其紛。所徵引凡數十家，而歐陽修、蘇轍、呂祖謙、嚴粲四家所取為多。雖鎔鑄群言，自為疏解，而義本某人，必於句下注其所出。又《集傳》多闡明義理，於名物訓詁聲音之學皆在所略。鎮於是數端，亦一一考証，具有根柢。蓋於漢學、宋學之間，能斟酌以得其平。書雖晚出，於讀《詩》者不為無裨也。 |
