注《陟岵》,謂毛《傳》先出,《爾雅》後出。注《綢繆》,謂心宿之象,三星鼎立。注《鹿鳴之什》,謂上下通用,止《小雅》二《南》,其《大雅》獨為天子之樂。注《節南山》,以家父即《春秋》之家父,師尹即《春秋》之尹氏案此項安世之說,見朱善詩解頤》,瑾襲之而隱其名也。注《楚茨》,誤讀鄭康成《玉藻注》,以楚茨為即採齊。注《甫田》,誤讀毛《傳》車梁,以為即《小戎》之梁輈。注《殷武》,杜撰殷廟之昭穆,及祧廟世次。皆一經指摘,無可置辭。故啟源譏胡廣修《詩經大全》,收瑾說太濫案《大全》即用瑾此書為藍本,故全用其說。啟源未以二書相較,故有此語。謹附訂於此。然徵實之學不足,而研究義埋究有淵源。議論亦頗篤實,於詩人美刺之旨尚有所發明,未可徑廢。至《周頌豐年篇》,朱子《詩辨說》既駁其誤,而《集傳》乃用《序》說,自相矛盾。又三夏見於《周禮》,呂叔玉注以《時邁》、《執競》、《思文》當之,朱子既用其說,乃又謂成康是二王謚,《執競》是昭王後詩,則不應篇名先見《周禮》。瑾一一回護,亦為啟源所糾。然漢儒務守師傳,唐疏皆遵注義。

朱善撰。有《詩解頤》,已著錄。是集首載聶鉉所作《墓志》,稱名善繼。然集中自稱曰朱善,而《詩經解頤》亦題曰朱善,則「繼」字殆刊本誤也。
