1  | 宋周羽翀撰。羽翀里貫未詳。自署稱儒林郎、試秘書省校書郎、前桂州修仁令，蓋宋初人也。其稱三楚者，以長沙馬殷、武陵周行逢、江陵高季興皆據楚地稱王，故論次其興廢本末，以一國為一卷。其中與史抵牾不合者甚多，如馬殷本為武安節度使劉建鋒先鋒指揮使，佐之奪湖南，及建鋒為陳瞻所殺，軍中迎殷為留後，亦未嘗為邵州刺史。今羽翀乃稱殷隨渠帥何氏南侵，何命為邵州刺史，何氏卒，眾軍迎殷為主。其說皆鑿空無據。又謂馬希範入覲，桑維翰旅游楚泗，求貨不得，拂衣而去。及希範立，維翰已為宰相，奏削去其半仗云云。今考希範嗣立在唐明宗長興三年，時晉未立國，安得有維翰為宰相之事？亦為誣罔。又如王逵為潘叔嗣所襲，與戰敗沒，而羽翀以為敗於南越，僅以身免，竟死於路。與諸書所紀，並有異同。蓋羽翀未睹國史，僅據故老所傳述纂錄成書，故不能盡歸精審。然其所聞軼事，為史所不載者，亦多可採。稗官野記，古所不廢，固不妨錄存其書，備讀五代史者參考焉。 |
