1  | 明方鳳撰。鳳字時鳴，改亭其號也，崑山人，正德戊辰進士，官至廣東提學僉事。是編載奏議一十八首。其兄鵬《跋》云：時鳴舊稿凡五十餘疏，今散失，止存此。考《江南通志》，稱鳳當武宗時官御史，屢諫巡幸。胡世寧為寧王宸濠所構，力辨其誣。世宗初大禮議起，尤力持正論，頗著風裁。然以其兄鵬附和張璁、桂萼遂並其兄劾之，又自劾以謝其兄，則矯激已甚。使其兄首倡邪說，事關君父，竟大義滅親可也。考興王而伯孝宗，其根株在璁與萼，其兄不過依阿其間。 |
| 1 | 明方鳳撰。鳳有《方改亭奏草》，已著錄。是書載水異、火異、眚異、木異、金石異、人異、蟲異凡七條。歷代災異見於正史、雜史者不可勝紀，鳳於每條舉二三事，真所謂挂一漏萬矣。 |
