1  | 國朝汪士鋐撰。士鋐字文升，長洲人。康熙丁丑進士，官至右春坊右中允。《瘞鶴銘》在鎮江府焦山之下，以雷震墮入江。其石破碎不完，故字多殘闕，傳本往往不同。又作書者或以為王羲之，或以為陶弘景，或以為顧況。自宋歐陽修《集古錄》以後，著錄者數十家，彼此譏駁，幾如聚訟。而海昌陳氏玉煙堂帖本，尤為輾轉失真。康熙丁未，淮安張弨親至水澨，仰臥而手拓之。共得六十九字，較諸本獨多。因為考証成書。後四十六年，陳鵬年守鎮江，乃募工出石於江中，陷之焦山亭壁間。其石分而為五，所存七十七字，又不全九字，其無字處以空石補之。按其辭義，補綴聯合，益為完善。士鋐因備採昔人之論，並引弨說而折衷之。以鵬年所出石本為圖，列諸卷首，匯為此考，搜羅頗稱詳盡。 |
