8  | 葉淇字本清，板閘鎮人。明景泰甲戌進士，拜監察御史。成化初，用薦超升廣西按察司僉事，撫定南丹土職，督捕南寧荔浦諸賊，遷陝西副使，領岷州兵備。又撫定松、潘，剿平洮州各賊，擢河南按察使。拜都察院左僉都御史，巡撫山西。值歲歉民饑，發廩賑粟，全活甚眾。弘治初，召為戶部侍郎，進尚書，加太子少保。直亮有執，廷議每取決焉。後以疾乞歸，卒贈太子太保，葬移風閘。 |
