| 89 | 瞿景淳，字師道，直隸常熟人。嘉靖甲辰進士第二人及第，授翰林院編修。滿九載，遷侍讀，陞左春坊左諭德。丁母憂歸。服除，守故官，遷侍讀學士，視翰林篆摠校《永樂大典》。亡何，以太常寺卿領南京國子祭酒事。已，即南京為吏部右侍郎。三載當入奏績，而會穆宗登極，以禮部左侍郎召。旋用《大典》總校勞，兼翰林院學士，仍佐部事，食二品俸。比朝，留侍經筵，修《世宗實錄》。尋以病發疏乞骸骨，遂予告歸，歸一載而卒。上為下所司治葬，諭祭，贈禮部尚書，謚文懿。景淳為人醇謹，以學行聞。歷典試，多所奬拔，士論稱之。 |
