67  | 華允誠字汝立，無錫人。早有志行，受「易」於同郡錢一本；中天啟壬戌進士。對策，極陳奄寺之害；主者不敢進呈，置二甲。乃從同里高攀龍講學首善書院，傳其「主靜」之學；旋從攀龍入京，授工部都水司主事。魏奄日熾，攀龍去官歸，允誠亦乞假同行。崇禎改元，起營繕主事，轉員外郎。命督琉璃廠，減經費數萬。明年冬，京師戒嚴，諸曹郎分守城門；以守御不備，多杖下斃。允誠守德勝門，四十餘日不稍懈；帝微行察知之，賜白金敘功，複加俸一年。久之，調兵部職方員外郎；疏攻閣臣溫體仁、吏部閔洪學朋比植私，奪俸半年。尋以終養歸。里居十二年，事母色養備至；母八十三而終。 |
