9  | 初，兀欲常遣使聘汉，使者至中国而周太祖入立。太祖复遣将军朱宪报聘，宪还而兀欲死。述律立，遂不复南寇。显德六年夏，世宗北伐，以保大军节度使田景咸为淤口关部署，右神武统军李洪信为合流口部署，前凤翔节度使王晏为益津关部署、侍卫亲军马步都虞候韩通为陆路都部署。世宗自乾宁军御龙舟，艛船战舰，首尾数十里，至益津关，降其守将，而河路渐狭，舟不能进，乃舍舟陆行。瓦桥淤口关、瀛莫州守将，皆迎降。方下令进攻幽州，世宗遇疾，乃置雄州于瓦桥关、霸州于益津关而还。周师下三关、瀛、莫，兵不血刃。述律闻之，谓其国人曰：「此本汉地，今以还汉，又何惜耶？」述律后为庖者因其醉而杀之。 |
