秋七月乙亥，魏以宋王劉昶為使持節、都督吳·越·楚諸軍事、大將軍，鎭彭城。江南皆春秋時吳、越、楚三國之地。魏主親餞之。以王肅為昶府長史。昶至鎭，不能撫接義故，宋蒼梧王初，昶鎭彭城，棄鎭奔魏，故義故在焉。卒無成功。卒，子恤翻。

魏主以上廢海陵王自立，謀大舉入寇。會邊將言，雍州刺史下邳曹虎遣使請降於魏，將，卽亮翻。雍，於用翻。使，疏吏翻。降，戶江翻。十一月，辛丑朔，魏遣行征南將軍薛眞度督四將向襄陽，大將軍劉昶、平南將軍王肅向義陽，徐州刺史拓跋衍向鍾離，平南將軍廣平劉藻向南鄭。眞度，安都從祖弟也。從，才用翻。以尚書僕射盧淵為安南將軍，督襄陽前鋒諸軍。淵辭以不習軍旅，不許。淵曰：「但恐曹虎為周魴耳。」周魴事見七十一卷魏明帝太和二年。魴，符方翻。
