三月癸亥朔，以郝處俊、高智周並為左庶子，李義琰yǎn為右庶子。郝，呼各翻。處，昌呂翻。唐制，東宫左、右庶子，各二員。

十一月戊寅朔，以太子左庶子、同中書門下三品高智周為御史大夫，罷知政事。

及崇儼死，賊不得，天后疑太子所為。太子頗好聲色，與戶奴趙道生等狎昵，好，呼到翻。昵，尼質翻。多賜之金帛，司議郎韋承慶上書諫，不聽。上，時掌翻。天后使人告其事。詔薛元超、裴炎與御史大夫高智周等雜鞫之，於東宮馬坊搜得皂甲數百領，以為反具；道生又款稱太子使道生殺崇儼。上素愛太子，遲回欲宥之，天后曰：「為人子懷逆謀，天地所不容；大義滅親，何可赦也！」甲子，廢太子賢為庶人，遣右監門中郎將令狐智通等送賢詣京師，監，古銜翻。將，即亮翻。幽于別所，黨與皆伏誅，仍焚其甲於天津橋南以示士民。劉昫曰：東都，周之王城，平王東遷所都也。故城在今苑內東北隅。自赧王以後，及東漢、魏文、晉武皆都於今故洛城。隋大業元年，自故洛城西移十八里，置新都，今都城是也。北據邙山，南對伊闕，洛水貫都，有河漢之象、跨洛為橋，曰天津橋。唐世人主，往來東都、西京，而寔都長安，以長安為京師。承慶，思謙之子也。韋思謙見一百九十九卷永徽元年。
