開成元年春正月辛丑朔，上御宣政殿，赦天下，改元。仇士良請以神策仗衛殿門，諫議大夫馮定言其不可，南牙十六衛之兵，至此雖名存實亡，然以北軍衛南牙，則外朝亦將聽命於北司，既紊太宗之紀綱，又增宦官之勢焰，故馮定言其不可。乃止。定，宿之弟也。馮宿，穆宗長慶初知制誥。

開成三年春正月甲子，李石入朝，中塗有盜射之，射，食亦翻。微傷，左右奔散，石馬驚，馳歸第。又有盜邀擊于坊門，斷其馬尾，唐諸坊之南皆有門，以時啟閉。斷，音短。僅而得免。上聞之大驚，命神策六軍遣兵防衛，敕中外捕盜甚急，竟無所獲。乙丑，百官入朝者九人而已。京城數日方安。
