128  | 秋七月辛未，以散騎常侍杜坦為青州刺史。坦，驥之兄也。初，杜預之子耽，避晉亂，居河西，仕張氏。前秦克涼州，子孫始還關中。高祖滅後秦，坦兄弟從高祖過江。時江東王、謝諸族方盛，北人晚渡者，朝廷悉以傖荒遇之，傖，助耕翻；南人呼北人為傖。荒，言其自荒外來也。雖復人才可施，皆不得踐清塗。上嘗與坦論金日磾，曰：「恨今無復此輩人！」復，扶又翻。磾，丁奚翻。坦曰：「日磾假生今世，養馬不暇，豈辦見知！」上變色曰：「卿何量朝廷之薄也！「量，音良。坦曰：「請以臣言之：臣本中華高族，晉氏喪亂，喪，息浪翻。播遷涼土，世業相承，不殞其舊；直以南渡不早，便以荒傖賜隔。日磾，胡人，身為牧圉：乃超登內侍，齒列名賢。金日磾事見二十二卷漢武帝後元二年。聖朝雖復拔才，臣恐未必能也。」上默然。 |
