89  | 劉幽求言於宋王成器、平王隆基曰：「相王疇昔已居宸極，群望所屬。嗣聖元年，則天廢中宗而立相王，及革命，以王為皇嗣。屬，之欲翻。今人心未安，家國事重，相王豈得尚守小節，不早即位以鎮天下乎！」隆基曰：「王性恬淡，不以代事嬰懷。代事即世事，避太宗諱云爾。雖有天下，猶讓於人，謂既讓武后，又讓中宗也。況親兄之子，安肯代之乎！」幽求曰：「眾心不可違，王雖欲高居獨善，其如社稷何！」成器、隆基入見相王，見，賢遍翻。極言其事，相王乃許之。甲辰，少帝在太極殿東隅西向，相王立於梓宮旁，太平公主曰：「皇帝欲以此位讓叔父，可乎？」幽求跪曰：「國家多難，皇帝仁孝，追蹤堯、舜，誠合至公；相王代之任重，慈愛尤厚矣。」難，乃旦翻。任，音壬。乃以少帝制傳位相王。時少帝猶在御座，太平公主進曰：「天下之心已歸相王，此非兒座！」遂提下之。下，遐嫁翻。睿宗即位，御承天門，赦天下。京城西內正門曰承天門。復以少帝為溫王。 |
