20  | 上遣中使賜史憲誠旌節，癸酉，至魏州。時李聽自貝州還軍館陶，遷延未進，館陶，在魏州北四十五里。憲誠竭府庫以治行。 治，直之翻。甲戌，軍亂，殺憲誠，奉牙內都知兵馬使靈武何進滔知留後。李聽進至魏州，進滔拒之，不得入。秋七月，進滔出兵擊李聽；聽不為備，大敗，潰走，考異曰：新進滔傳曰：「進滔下令曰：『公等既迫我，當聽吾令。』眾唯唯。『孰殺前使及監軍者，疏出之。』凡斬九十餘人，釋脅從者。素服臨哭，將吏皆入弔。詔拜留後。」按進滔結王庭湊以拒李聽，又襲擊聽，大破之，安能如是！新傳蓋據柳公權德政碑云：「公謂將士曰：『既迫以為長，當謹而聽承。』命都將總事者諭之曰：『害前使與監軍兇黨，籍其姓名，仍集之於庭，無使漏網。』卒獲九十三人。白黑既分，善惡無誤，會眾顯戮共棄，咸悅。公於是素服而哭，將吏序弔。」此恐涉溢美之辭耳。今從舊傳。晝夜兼行，趣淺口，九域志：魏州館陶縣有淺口鎮。趣，七喻翻。失亡過半，輜重兵械盡棄之。重，直用翻。昭義兵救之，聽僅而得免，歸于滑臺。李聽本鎮滑州。 |
