54  | 江子一之敗還也，謂自采石下流敗還之時。上責之。子一拜謝曰：「臣以身許國，常恐不得其死；今所部皆棄臣去，臣以一夫安能擊賊！若賊遂能至此，臣誓當碎首以贖前罪，不死闕前，當死闕後。」乙亥，子一啓太子，與弟尚書左丞子四、東宮主帥子五帥所領百餘人開承明門出戰。主帥，所類翻。五帥，讀曰率。子一直抵賊營，賊伏兵不動。未測其情，故不動。子一呼曰：「賊輩何不速出！」久之，賊騎出，夾攻之。子一徑前，引槊刺賊；從者莫敢繼，賊解其肩而死。子四、子五相謂曰：「與兄俱出，何面獨旋！」皆免冑赴賊。子四中矟，洞胸而死；呼，火故翻。刺，七亦翻。從，才用翻。中，竹仲翻。矟，與槊同，色角翻。子五傷脰，還至塹，一慟而絕。江子一兄弟駢肩以死於闕下，而不足以衞社稷，悲夫！古人所以重折衝千里之外者也。塹，七豔翻。 |
