58  | 戊辰，以荊州刺史衡陽王義季為征北大將軍、開府儀同三司、南兗州刺史，以南譙王義宣為荊州刺史。初，帝以義宣不才，故不用，會稽公主屢以為言，帝不得已用之。會稽公主，高祖長女，帝深加禮敬，家事大小必咨之。會，工外翻。先賜中詔敕之曰：「師護以在西久，詔自中出，不經門下者，謂之中詔，今之手詔是也。敕，戒也。義季，小字師護。比表求還，比，毗至翻，頻也。今欲聽許，以汝代之。師護雖無殊績，絜己節用，絜，與潔同。通懷期物，不恣羣下，聲著西土，為土庶所安，論者乃未議遷之。今之回換，更為汝與師護年時一輩，為，於僞翻。欲各試其能。汝往，脫有一事減之者，旣於西夏交有巨礙，江左六朝以荊楚為西夏。夏，戶雅翻。遷代之譏，必歸責於吾矣。言遷代之際，所任非人也。此事亦易勉耳，無為使人復生評論也！」易，以鼓翻。復，扶又翻。義宣至鎭，勤自課厲，事亦修理。 |
