宋　綬字公垂，趙州平棘人。博通經史百家，文章為一時所尚。真宗時，判三司，建言，下令釋逋負，未報。請選官考覆以聞，於是脫械繫三千二百人，蠲積負數百萬。仁宗時，拜參知政事。時天下久無事，綬請飭厲羣司，不以承平自怠。後知河南府。元昊反，帝以手詔賜大臣，詢攻取之策，綬畫十事以獻。綬性孝謹，清介言動，有常家蔵書萬餘卷，親自校讐，其札尤精妙，朝廷大議論，多綬所裁定，卒諡宣獻。
