《卷七十一》

203	王　遴，字繼津，霸州人。嘉靖進士，除紹興推官，遷兵部主事。矜節㮣不妄交，與楊繼盛同官相得。楊疏劾嚴嵩論死，遴為資饘粥，且以女字其次子。及繼盛死，收葬之㑹，查覈嚴，効忠嚴鵠冐功事。嵩子世蕃自為藁屬，武選郎周冕，冕發之，反得罪。尚書聶豹懼，趣所司以世蕃藁上。遴力争不可，次日另具一藁呈聶聶，擲扵地曰：「君為君子，豹為小人矣」。竟覆如世蕃稿。嵩父子衘遴次骨，乃摭他事下之詔獄，事白，復官。出為岢嵐兵備副使，有威名，為廵撫所忌，劾去。官民相率訟寃，詔許起用。累遷右副都御史，巡撫延綏。大興屯田，邊人賴焉。萬歴中，歴户、兵、工三部。尚書陳理財七事，上嘉納。以忤時相罷歸。卒，贈太子太保。天啟初，賜諡恭肅。
