10  | 嘗聞父老云：太宗初無入承大統之意。袁珙之相，有以啟之。近見姚少師廣孝撰珙《墓志》有云：洪武間，上在潛邸，聞先生名，遣使以幣禮聘焉。既拜受，即沐浴戒行李而起。及見上，大悅，於是肅恭而前，面對聖容，俯仰左右，一目而盡得矣。先生再拜稽首而言曰：「聖上，太平天子也。龍形而鳳姿，天廣地闊，日麗中天，重瞳龍髯，二肘若肉印之狀。龍行虎步，聲如鍾，實乃蒼生真主，太平天子也。年交四十，髯鬚長過於臍，即登寶位時。」上雖聽其說而未全信。居無何，先生辭還故里。洪武三十五年壬午六月十七日，上誕膺天籙，嗣登大寶。因感先生昔言之驗，於是敕遣內侍驛召至京，拜太常寺丞，授承直郎，待以特禮，賜冠服鞍馬，文綺鈔錠及居第在京，以便其老。珙別有《紀》云：「洪武二十三年九月，敬蒙燕府差人取至北平。」觀此，則知太宗之有大志久矣。珙之相，特決之耳。珙，字廷玉，號柳莊，鄞人。相術之妙，詳見九靈山人戴良所著《傳》。 |
