6  | 易云：「观乎人文以化成天下。」孔子曰：「焕乎其有文章。」自汉以来，辞人代有，大则宪章典诰，小则申抒性灵。至于经礼乐而纬国家，通古今而述美恶，非斯则莫可也。是以哲王在上，咸所敦悦。故云「言之不文，行之不远」。自中原沸腾，五马南度，缀文之士，无乏于时。降及梁朝，其流弥盛。盖由时主儒雅，笃好文章，故才秀之士，焕乎俱集。于时武帝每所临幸，辄命群臣赋诗，其文之善者赐以金帛。是以缙绅之士，咸知自励。至有陈受命，运接乱离，虽加奖励，而向时之风流息矣。诗云：「人之云亡，邦国殄悴。」岂金陵之数将终三百年乎？不然，何至是也。宋史不立文学传，齐、梁皆有其目。今缀而序之，以备此篇云尔。 |
