夏四月丙申，立皇子永康公胤為皇太子，賜天下為父後者爵一級，王公以下賚帛各有差。庚子，詔：「鏤金銀薄、庶物化生、土木人、彩華之屬，及布帛短狹輕疏者，並傷財廢業，尤成蠹患。又僧尼道士，挾邪左道，不依經律，人間淫祀祅書諸珍怪事，詳為條制，並皆禁絕。」

六月戊戌，扶南國遣使朝貢。庚子，廢皇太子胤為吳興王，立揚州刺史始安王深為皇太子。辛丑，以太子詹事袁憲為尚書僕射。丁巳，大風自西北激濤水入石頭城，淮渚暴溢，漂沒舟乘。

後主二十二男：張貴妃生太子深、會稽王莊。孫姬生吳興王胤。高昭儀生南平王嶷。呂淑媛生永嘉王彥、邵陵王兢。龔貴嬪生南海王虔、錢唐王恬。張淑華生信義王祗。徐淑儀生東陽王恮。孔貴人生吳郡王藩。其皇子總、觀、明、綱、統、沖、洽、絳、綽、威、辯十一人，並未及封。

吳興王胤字承業，後主長子也。太建五年二月乙丑，生於東宮。母孫姬，因產卒，沈皇后哀而養之，以為己子。後主年長未有嗣，宣帝命以為嫡孫，詔為父後者賜爵一級。十年，封永康公。後主即位，為皇太子。
