十二月丁巳，荊州刺史沉攸之舉兵，不從執政。丁卯，蕭道成入守朝堂，侍中蕭嶷鎮東府。戊辰，中外纂嚴。壬申，司徒袁粲據石頭，謀誅道成，不果，旋見覆滅。乙亥，以王僧虔為左僕射，王延之為右僕射。吳郡太守劉遐據郡不從執政，令張瑰攻斬之。

二月庚辰，以王僧虔為尚書令，王延之為左僕射。癸未，蕭道成加授太尉，以褚彥回為中書監、司空。丙戌，撫軍將軍、揚州刺史晉熙王燮進號中軍將軍。
