1  | 唐集賢院學士蕭嵩、王仲丘等撰。唐初有《貞觀》、《顯慶禮》，儀注不同，而《顯慶》又出於許敬宗希旨傅會，不足施用。開元十四年「通事舍人王嵒請刪《禮記》舊文，而益以今事。張說以為《禮記》不可改易，宜折衷《貞觀》、《顯慶》以為唐禮。乃詔徐堅、李銳、施敬本撰述，蕭嵩、王仲丘繼之。書成，唐之五禮之文始備，於是遂以設科取士。《新史》《禮樂志》大略採摭著于篇。然唐初已降凶禮於五禮之末，至顯慶，遂削去《國恤》一篇。則敬宗諂諛諱惡鄙陋亡稽，卒不能正也。 |
