《卷四》
1  | 齐太子家令吴兴沈约休文撰。约永明中兼著作郎，被敕撰。本何承天、山谦之、苏宝生撰，至徐爱勒为一史，起义熙，迄大明，自永光以来阙而不录。今新史始义熙，终升明三年，本纪、列传七十卷，志三十卷，独阙《到彦之传》。《馆阁书目》谓其志兼载魏、晋，失于限断。揆以班、马史体，未足为疵，至其所创《符瑞》一志，不经且无益，其赘甚矣。约后入梁为仆射、侍中。 |

| 1 | 宋前军行参军东海鲍照明远撰。世多云鲍昭，以避唐武后讳也。沈约《宋书》、李延寿《南史》皆作鲍照。而《馆阁书目》直以为鲍昭，且云上党人，非也。 |
