112  | ，三十年春正月，戍錦衣衛經歴沈鍊于邊。初，趙貞吉請勿許，諳達求貢，廷臣無敢是貞吉者，鍊獨大言以為是，吏部尚書夏邦謨目之曰：「若何官？」鍊曰：「錦衣經歴沈鍊也，大臣不言，故小吏言之。鍊憤國無人，致寇猖獗，請以萬騎䕶陵寢萬騎䕶通州軍儲，合勤王師十餘萬，擊其惰歸，可大得志」。帝不省。時嚴嵩用事，邊臣爭致賄遺，及失事，懼罪，益輦金賄嵩，鍊時時扼腕，一日，從尚寳丞張遜業飲，酒半及嵩，因慷慨詈罵，流涕交頤，遂疏劾嵩黷賄十罪，併及邦謨諂䛕狀，請均斥罷。帝怒，搒之數十，謫佃保安。。 |
