壬辰，二十年春正月，杖給事中孟養浩，字義甫，湖廣威寧人。除其名。時禮科給事中李獻可字堯俞，同安人。疏請豫教，言：「元子年十有一矣，豫教之典，當及首春舉行。倘謂內廷足可誦讀，近侍亦堪輔𨗳，則禁闥幽閒，豈若外朝之清肅，內臣忠敬，何如師保之尊嚴！」疏入，帝大怒，摘疏中誤書𢎞治年號，責以違㫖侮君，貶一秩調外。于是六科給事中鍾羽正字叔亷，益都人。舒宏緒通山人、陳尚象都勻人丁懋遜霑化人、張棟字伯任，崑山人。呉之佳長洲人、楊其休、青城人、葉初春呉縣人及御史鄒徳泳字汝聖，安福人。各具疏救，而養浩言尤力，命錦衣衛杖之百，削籍為民。養浩等既逐言者未已，禮部員外郎董嗣成、御史賈名儒、陳禹謨、給事中李周䇿復先後論諫，成被譴。 董嗣成，烏程人。賈名儒，真定人。陳禹瑛，仁和人。李周䇿，呉江人。
