131  | 秋八月，以兵部侍郎陸完督邊兵討賊。張偉、馬中錫既論罪，兵部尚書何鑑以京軍不能制賊，請發宣府、延綏二鎮兵助討，詔完統之。邊將許㤗郤永、馮禎等俱聴調遣。師行至涿州，忽傳賊犯固安，且逼京師，帝御左順門召閣臣及鑑，諭曰：「賊在東，師乃西出，恐緩不及事」。因命鑑召完入衛，完遂趨信安。㤗永撃賊覇州，敗之，京師乃解嚴。已而邊兵連破賊完，請益發大同、遼東兵濟之。內官谷大用、張忠意賊旦暮且平，乃自請督師，冀邀封賞，詔以大用提督軍務，伏羗伯毛鋭為總兵官，忠監神鎗，帥京軍五千㑹完。是時賊益南方圍濟寧，焚糧艘，大用等駐師臨清，觀望不敢進，㑹明年正月，帝將有事南郊，賊遂謀以十二月朔伺帝省牲，乗間犯駕，乃疾馳而北。先一日至覇州，鑑立奏聞，即夜嚴設守備。迨明帝召問：「駕可出否？」鑑請早出安人心，帝成禮而還。賊知有備，西掠保定以去。 |
